Customs seizes smart phones worth Rs10 million

The staffers of the Model Customs Collectorate Preventive recovered 490 cellular phones from a bag at the Jinnah International Airport.

According to a statement issued on Monday, a passenger who landed at the Karachi airport from Dubai in Emirates Airlines, EK-606, left his bag on the conveyor belt and left the airport when he saw custom officers approaching him. The bag carried 490 mobile phones, including smart phones and I-pads worth Rs 10 million.
