Javed Malik meets commerce minister
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain Javed Malik met Federal Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan to discuss ways to expand Pakistan’s trade and commerce relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, says a press release on Wednesday.
Javed Malik said that the highly positive visits by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Bahrain and earlier by King Hamed Al Khalifa to Pakistan had provided an excellent framework to upgrade the bilateral ties between both countries. It was agreed to initiate various efforts to expand business to business cooperation between both countries and enhancing the interaction between our business communities.
The minister highlighted the tremendous potential of increasing trade between Pakistan and Bahrain and the GCC region and he welcomed the suggestions by the ambassador to hold Pakistan-Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference in 2016.
Javed Malik said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Pakistan was moving towards stability and progress and the close fraternal relations with our friends and allies in the GCC region would continue to expand positively.
