National Anti-Terrorism Day at PU

Punjab University College of Earth and Environmental Sciences will celebrate National Anti Terrorism Day & National Day for Cultural Development on Thursday (today). 

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, MPA Arif Khan Sandhila and SSP Operations, Counter Terrorism Department, Punjab Rai Ejaz Ahmed will be the chief guests. 

Annual dinner: Annual dinner and meeting of old students of Punjab University Department of History and Pakistan Studies will be held on Saturday, at Al-Razi Hall. 

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will be the chief guest. Chairman Department of History Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chawla said around 300 students/guests from all walks of life including professors, politicians, bureaucrats and civil society will participate in the event and the function will start at 6:30pm.

Baloch delegation: A delegation of vice chancellors and position holder students from Balochistan will visit Punjab University on Thursday (today) at Al Raazi Hall of Undergraduate Studies, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.

Workshop: Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Science (IAGS) organised one-day national workshop on “Alternate Crops for the Future of Pakistan”.  According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Prof Dr Naeem Khan was the chief guest while Director General, Agriculture Extension, Punjab Dr Anjum Ali, ex-inspector general, Motorway Police Mehr Zafar Iqbal Lakk, Chairman, Department of Zoology Prof Dr Javed Iqbal Qazi and others attended the workshop.
