| Cholera, other epidemics claim 8 in Jaffarabad | JAFFARABAD: At least eight people including two children died of breakout of Cholera and other epidemics after deadly floods multiplied sufferings of already ravaged people in Jaffarabad District in Baluchistan, Geo News reported.
Floodwater level in Dera Allahyar, district headquarter of Jaffarabad, is being witnessed on constant surge which is receiving no tangible operations from government officials for its outflow, sources said.
After destruction of Kutchi Abadies, the houses located in city areas have started collapsing gradually by floodwaters, sources said.
The district is disconnected with other parts of country for last 11 days while abject scarcity of drinking water and shortage of food and medicines have let situation go from bad to worse.
