SUKKUR: All the 10 victims of the two traffic accidents were laid to rest in their native towns on Friday. In one of the accidents near Jamshoro, six people of a family were killed following a collision between a jeep and car. Both the vehicles subsequently caught fire trapping the people inside. The dead included Ali Hassan and his wife Afroz who were married only three days ago. Ali was accompanying his father Ali Sheer Kato, a retired policeman, to Karachi for the former’s medical check-up. The bodies were shifted to Channa Muhalla of Jacobabad where the funeral prayers were held, attended by large number of people. They were later laid to rest at the Katta Shah graveyard. Similarly, the other four victims of the road accident in Khairpur were also laid to rest in a graveyard near village Khuda Bakahsh Maitlo in Khairpur, following largely attended funeral prayers. Following these accidents, the Khairpur police on Friday impounded many passenger wagons running on CNG and got their CNG kits removed.
