The official said a special enrollment campaign would be carried out to bring out of schools girls to schools.
There was lack of middle and high schools in the district and parents did not send children to schools situated away from homes, she added.
The official maintained that the district administration would write to the provincial government to establish middle and high schools, particularly for girls in the district to enable them to pursue study to promote girls education there.
One Fazal Ghani said his four daughters had completed their primary level education but they could not continue studies as there was no middle or high school for girls in Ghund Karkana Union Council. He said he had enrolled his daughters at a religious seminary.
