The cheque distribution ceremony was held at the City Campus of the university on Tuesday. Vice-chancellor SBBWU Prof Dr Razia Sultana was the chief guest on the occasion. She gave away cheques to the selected students.
The scholarships cover tuition fee for the master’s courses and hostel expenses, subsistence to the award-holder and travel to and from home to the university, said a university official.
