PESHAWAR: The bar associations in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa elected office-bears on Saturday.
Ismail Khalil was elected president and Mohammad Saeed general secretary of the District Bar Association Peshawar.
As per the official result, Jahanzeb Khalil was elected vice-president, Sawar Khan joint secretary, Mohammad Shahid finance secretary, Shah Nawaz press secretary and Imran Bakht, secretary library.
MINGORA: Shamsher Ali Khan Mir Khankhel was elected as the president and Nisar Khan as the general secretary of the District Bar Association Swat.
NOWSHERA: The grand alliance candidate Shehzad Gul was elected as the president while Mian Iftikhar Jan was elected as general secretary.
BANNU: Malgari Wakeelan candidate Muhammad Waseem was elected president while Samiullah Khan as general secretary.
TIMERGARA: Islamic Lawyers Movement and People’s Lawyers Forum’s joint candidate Muhammad Altaf and Muhammad Ayaz were elected president and general secretary, respectively.
SHANGLA: Senior lawyer Shah Fawad Khan was elected as president and Ishfaq Hussain as the general secretary.
TAKHT BHAI: Qamar Zaman was elected as the president and Usman Ghani as the general secretary in the tehsil bar election.
LAKKI MARWAT: Niamatullah Khan Khoidadkhel was elected president and Ikramullah as general secretary.
ABBOTTABAD: Asad Tanveer Qureshi advocate was elected president and Jalal Shah general secretary of the District Bar Association.
HARIPUR: Khursheed Azhar advocate was elected president of Haripur District Bar Association and Yasir was elected as general secretary.
KARAK: Mehboobur Rehman was elected as the president while Waseeullah general secretary.
