Rawalpindi: A special morning assembly on Global Dignity Day was conducted at ‘The Educators,’ Harley Campus, here on Wednesday.
Students of grade VIII conveyed the message of Global Dignity Day in a form of a skit. The gist of the skit manifested that how the servants are treated harshly at their work places and the message put forward by a group of students through placards was that ‘Self- respect is important for all.’
Students also defined ‘Dignity’ in their own words and shared different incidents from their lives that gave them the ownership of the concept. A beautiful poem on Global Dignity Day was sung by the energetic students. Moreover, students portrayed different quotations on Global Dignity Day. Issues like ‘class discrimination’ and poor treatment of the less fortunate were boldly highlighted in the speech presented by the students of grade VIII.
Moreover, at the end students gave away Thank You Cards among the guards and maids to show their concern towards them.
