More Saudi scholarships for IIU students likely

Islamabad: There is high likelihood of the Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, increasing the number of scholarships for the International Islamic University (IIU) students.The development comes as IIU President Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh meets the acting rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman

Islamabad: There is high likelihood of the Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, increasing the number of scholarships for the International Islamic University (IIU) students.
The development comes as IIU President Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh meets the acting rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, in Riyadh.
Issues relating to academic excellence and mutual cooperation also came under discussion during the meeting.The two sides agreed that the universities of Islamic world should work together for providing an ideal educational milieu to the students as educated youths were an urgent need of hour.
Dr Fawzan lauded the IIU for its role in building the minds of Muslim Ummah.He also appreciated Dr Al-Draiweesh for making efforts for the success of the university and promotion of education across the Muslim world.During the meeting, Dr Al-Draiweesh apprised Dr Fawzan of the IIU achievements, future goals and constraints amid struggle towards success.
