Islamabad: On the directions of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, the NAB proposed to the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) to print the NAB message ‘Say No to Corruption’ on electricity bills, as utility bills are the best source to convey and spread the anti-corruption message of NAB, says a press release.
The Iesco last month assured NAB that they will start printing NAB’s message ‘Say No to Corruption’ on electricity bills from February 2015.
As per commitment with the NAB, Iesco joined hands with NAB by printing the NAB’s message against corruption. Iesco has further displayed banners carrying NAB’s messages at all its offices.
The NAB chairman has welcomed printing of the message on electricity bills by Iesco from February 2015 in order to spread NAB’s message about the ill effects of corruption.
