Chinese Consul General Yu Boren has said that China will find ways to provide technical assistance to Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) for the promotion of technical education and vocational training system across Punjab.
During his visit to the TEVTA Secretariat on Tuesday, he said “We will also arrange teachers, textbooks and other related material for Chinese Language classes started at the TEVTA institutes.
We wil like to establish long-term cooperation with the TEVTA regarding Chinese language education.” TEVTA Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Press Attaché Zhai Yinglin, Chief Operating Officer TEVTA Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and other officers of the TEVTA were also present. Yu Boren further said Chinese President Xi Jingping paid a successful visit to Pakistan and his visit had greatly promoted the unique friendly relations and cooperation between China and Pakistan. “As Consul General here in Lahore, we need to join hands to enhance the people-to-people exchange and language is one of the critical factors to promote the people-to-people contact. I believe China and Pakistan will work more closely to push forward the bilateral relations and strengthen coordination in the international affairs”, he added. Irfan Qaiser Sheikh highlighted the efforts of the TEVTA for boosting vocational training and increasing opportunities for training of youth.
