Pakistan People’s Party former Federal Minister Mirza Nasir Baig, who remained the PPP leader for 40 years, has joined PML-N.
He made this announcement during a press conference at his residence in Lodhran. MNA Abdul Rehman Kanju, Siddique Baloch, local MPAs Aamir Iqbal Qureshi, Sultan Jehangir Bhutta, Sajjad Joyia, Ahmed Khan Baloch and former MPA Pir Syed Rafi-ud-Din Shah were also present on the occasion.
Mirza Nasir Baig said that PML-N was the only national political party which had a clear vision of national development and pursuing it.
He said that the spirit of development and patriotism of Sharif Brothers was laudable. He said that the manifesto of Roti, Kapra and Makan of PPP had buried with the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto and PPP gave nothing to the people except disappointment. Mirza Nasir Baig said that in future he would do politics under the banner of PML-N.
He also announced to support PML-N candidate Umair Baloch in NA-154. Abdul Rehman Kanju said that public representatives group of PML-N was a popular group which believed in public service. He said that PML-N would win by-election on October 11.
