DSP, SHO suspended

Inspector General Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has suspended two Officers, DSP, Muridke, and SHO, Muridke City, district Sheikhupura.
According to an official notification, both officers DSP Khalid Mehmood Tabassum and SHO Muhammad Hussain were suspended on charges of misconduct and inefficiency. They were transferred and closed to central police, office, Lahore. The IG made the decision while taking a notice on complaints of people of Muridke City about rising crimes.
cops: SSP Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem has suspended In charge Investigation, Old Anarkali, Arshad Kahloon and Investigation Officer ASI Muhammad Tariq for arresting a citizen, Shahzad, by implicating him in a five-year-old case and making a bogus recovery.
He issued show cause notices to the officials. The mother of Shahzad submitted an application to the SSP that police had arrested her son in a false case and sent him to jail by making bogus recovery upon which SSP Investigation ordered SP CRO Umar Riaz Cheema to hold an inquiry. The inquiry report revealed that the allegations made by the woman were true upon which SSP Investigation suspended the cops. Meanwhile, the SSP awarded commendatory certificate to DSP, Shahdara Circle, Abid Hussain for substantial increase in the rate of submission of challans to the courts.
