PESHAWAR: Empowered Women Society, IMSciences, along with Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) organised a 7-day female-only IMEntrepreneurial Camp in Naran on Entrepreneurship and Environment.
The step was taken to assist women in developing the skills and ideas required to become a successful entrepreneur as well as an environmental activist.
Through undertaking a hand-on and experiential approach, it was aimed to involve an innovative and attractive approach to learning and travelling.
The students took part in multiple campaigns for plantation and cleanliness to promote a cleaner environment by distributing eco-friendly bags provided by Cocoon Home, as well as taking part in spreading awareness about working women in developing areas of KP. They showed support for Kashmir through peace walk in Nathia Gali. The students had both trekking and horse riding experience between Lake Saiful Maluk and Ansoo Lake as well as boating in Lake Saiful Maluk. From visiting the windy Babusar Top to feeling the cold water of Lulusar Lake between the toes as well as the very thrilling rafting escapade in Naran, left the students delighted. A charming picnic surrounded by the scenic beauty of Shogran and joyful ride in the chairlift of Patriata made for a relaxing affair.
