TOBA TEK SINGH: A Health Department team on Wednesday sealed a fake herbal medicines and tea manufacturing factory at Kamalia.
The team led by EDO Dr Nawaz Ranjha raided at Ravi Town and sealed the factory. The EDO told that the factory owners, Abdul Salam and Abdul Wahid, were preparing fake honey and herbal medicines besides manufacturing fake tea of famous brands. He said that all machinery of the factory had been taken into custody and seven rooms of the factory had been sealed.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: As many as 300 government schools of the district will start Early Childhood Education classes with the cooperation of the UNICEF.
District Monitoring Officer Asif Ali Dogar and Deputy District Education Officer Raheela Jamil told here on Wednesday that Rs 48,000 worth kits had been provided to all the said schools where trained teachers would provide education to the children in a new way. They added that this facility had been provided in 70 boys elementary, 71 girls elementary and 159 secondary schools of the district.
