Yahya moves into Westbury Open U17 singles final

KARACHI: Yahya Ehtisham moved into the final of under-17 singles in the Westbury Open at DA Creek Club here on Tuesday.
He defeated Haider Ali 6-2, 6-4 in the semi-final. Taha Aman thrashed Ayan Yousuf 6-0, 6-0 in their under-15 singles semi-final. In the under-13 singles quarter-finals, Yousuf Haleem smashed Daniyal Kothawala 6-0, 6-0, while Usman Raja got walkover against Nadir Mirza.
In men’s singles second round, Nauman Aftab beat Ashar Mir 6-4, 6-0, Parbat Kumar defeated Fahad Khan 6-0, 6-3, Farhan Altaf won against Saad Ahmed 6-0, 6-0, while Rayan Jawad got walkover against Shahnur.
