Four dacoits arrested near Lahore

LAHORE: The National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) N-5 (Central) has arrested four members of a dacoit gang and recovered arms and ammunition and a vehicle from them. NH&MP patrol officers Rana Tariq Ilyas, Khursheed Ahmed, Muhammad Hassan and Abdul Hameed on suspicion tried to stop car AB-4209 with a broken number plate, but the car sped away. They chased the car and managed to arrest four dacoits Muhammad Ashraf of Kot Nanak Singh Changa Manga, Muhammad Saleem of Kot Nanak Singh Changa Manga, Azhar Ali of Gulshan Basti, Jamber and Sajjad Ahmed of Kot Nanak Singh Changa Manga. The criminals in preliminary investigation confessed to crimes on highways. NH&MP Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig appreciated the officers.
