Ban on hospitals OPDs lifted

Islamabad: The Islamabad district administration has lifted the ban on the people's visit to the out-patient departments of the local hospitals in view the people's difficulties in getting medical assistance.
The ban was imposed on March 24 to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus.
According to a notification issued on Thursday by Islamabad district magistrate Mohammad Hamza Shafqaat, the ban has been lifted but hospitals have to adhere to a set of standard operating procedures given to them. The hospitals were told to make sure that visitors observe social distancing.
