NA Speaker inquires after Iranian Speaker
ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, through a letter, has inquired after the health and well-being of Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Assembly Dr Ali Ardeshir Larijani on Monday.
He also prayed for the quick and complete recovery from illness. Speaker Asad Qaiser in his letter sought blessings of Almighty Allah for health and long life of the Iranian Speaker and progress and prosperity of the entire Muslim Ummah.
The Speaker said that coronavirus had posed a threat to the well-being of the entire humanity and the world should come together to combat the pandemic. The Speaker further said that with the aforesaid intent, the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan had called for lifting of sanctions on Islamic Republic of Iran.
He assured his Iranian counterpart of Pakistan’s support in that difficult situation. He prayed that brave people of Islamic Republic of Iran would soon overcome that problem. The letter had been dispatched to Tehran through diplomatic means for delivery to the Iranian Speaker.
