Police arrest man for organising marriage gathering

DI KHAN: The city police on Sunday arrested a man for organising a wedding party in violation of the Section-144.A police party led by SHO Abid Iqbal, on a tip-off, raided a house in Mohallah Jalal Hussain where a gathering was organised in connection the wedding. The wedding party organizer, Syed Ragib Raza, was arrested under Section 188 PPC for assembling people. Inaction by the police authorities is giving way to such gatherings across the district.
