Guests in the mornings

Anyone driving into the federal capital on the morning of November 11 must have faced long delays. The Islamabad Expressway at Kharal Chowk was blocked for over 40 minutes. People faced similar delays at Murree Road and on the Kashmir Highway. The reason for the blocking of roads was the visit of the president of Tajikistan to the country.
Thousands faced prolonged delays in reaching work places. Thousands of litres of fuel were wasted as well, causing unwanted pollution. The Foreign Office is requested to schedule the arrival and departure of foreign dignitaries at a time other than morning and evening rush hours.
