A university in Nowshera has introduced a new programme – MPhil/MS English. According to the HEC, there should be at least two relevant fulltime PhD faculty members in a department to launch MPhil/MS programmes.
The university does not fulfil this criteria laid down by the HEC. The authorities concerned should look into the matter.
