The scale and magnitude of corruption in Sindh is not a secret. The sitting government has left no department untainted – so much so that jobs in the provincial bureaucracy are being offered to ineligible and politically influential candidates for money.
Justice (r) Agha Rafiq, who refused to yield to any kind of pressure as far as merit-based SPSC examinations are concerned, was removed by the provincial government. He was the last hope for the people. With his unceremonious departure we, the poor students of Sindh, have no money to buy jobs but to get some books to read.
