Last year, the Pakistan Army made a record by opening the Lowari Pass for all kinds of traffic on May 1, 2014 through their conscientious efforts. The efforts brought much relief to the people of Chitral.
While this year the ratio of snowfall at the pass is comparatively low, the Pakistan Army is expected to make the road vehicle worthy by clearing the snow off the pass before the end of April 2015.
