CCI meeting to discuss important issues on 26th
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned meeting of Council of Common Interest (CCI) on February 26 (Friday) at Prime Minister House.
According to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the prime minister has summoned the CCI meeting to review the economic situation of the country.
Meanwhile, under the directions of prime minister the Cabinet Division has prepared draft of the agenda of the meeting .
The prime minister is chairman while chief ministers of provinces are members of CCI.
The CPEC, terrorism, National Action Plan, energy crisis, National Finance Commission Award, census, electricity, gas loadshedding and other common issues will be discussed in the CCI meeting.
Earlier, Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani, while giving his ruling some days ago, said that the Nawaz government was violating the Constitution by not summoning the CCI meeting for the last 18 months.
