5 of a family killed in Jhang accident

JHANG: Five members of a family were killed in an accident near Adda Aliabad on Saturday.

Javed Iqbal of Mauza Baghri, his wife Batool Bibi, daughter Ume Farwa (3) and sons, Khizar Hayat (7) and two-month-old Umer Hayat, were on their way to Shah Jewana to see their relatives by a motorcycle when a truck coming from opposite direction hit their bike on Jhang-Multan Road. As a result, Javed Iqbal, his wife and daughter died on the spot while his sons were seriously injured. The injured were rushed to the DHQ Hospital but both succumbed to injuries.
