‘Co-curricular activities enhance creativity of students’

BAHAWALPUR: Commissioner Saqib Zafar has said that co-curricular activities enhance creativity of the students and nurtured their mental abilities.
He said this while addressing the Brain of Bahawalpur Quiz Competition as the chief guest, which was held at a private college here on Friday. The commissioner said that the government was providing an atmosphere where the students could groom themselves through co-curricular activities. He suggested that such competitions should be organised at divisional level. Principal of the college Baqir Nadeem said that more than 1,200 students of government and private schools participated in the competition. According to the results, Syed Arsalan, Talia and Rehan Iftikhar bagged first, second and third positions respectively. Bahawalpur BISE Chairman Rana Masood and others also spoke.
