COAS vows to come up to nation’s expectations

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif on Thursday visited the Hyderabad Garrison, an ISPR press release said. The COAS met officers, troops and veterans of the formation and Sindh Regimental Centre.
He appreciated the formation for its performance and reiterated that the Pakistan Army would always respond to the call of the nation and come up to its expectations, whether it was defence of the motherland or natural calamities.
Gen Raheel also visited the Sindh Regimental Centre and laid a wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha. Earlier, on arrival in Hyderabad, he was received by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar.
