LAHORE

President Pakistan Muslim League (PML) and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have said the PML-N has introduced ‘black law’ after the announcement of Local Governments’ schedule.

It shows that the PML-N has no confidence in their elected representatives. The PML leaders said the PML-N was afraid of upsets in secret balloting so they introduced ‘black law’.

According to a press release issued on Saturday, they were addressing the organising meeting of the PML Punjab at Lahore.

MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Moonis Elahi, Nauman Langrial, Saeed Ahmad Sheikh, Anwar Bhindar, Aamir Sultan Cheema, Dr Azeem-ud-Din Zahid Lakhvi, Mian Imran Masood, Qamar Hayat Khatya, Mian Munir, Mian Abdus Sattar, Khadija Farooqi, Amna Ulfat, Majida Zaidi, Kanwal Naseem, Muhammad Ali Gujjar, Muhammad Irfan and presidents of all districts attended the meeting.

Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said the PML and PTI would jointly file a petition against this law on Monday. He said we had decided to reorganise party structure at tehsil and district levels. For this purpose, an organising committee has been constituted to nominate the new office-bearers.

While answering a question, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said the PML had contacted different parties for new political allies. He said if timely actions had been taken on the National Action Plan then the result would have been different.

Situation of hospitals and schools is getting worse day by day but the Punjab government is spending huge amount of budget on Jangla Bus and Orange Train which is actually a ‘dollar making’ project. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said the N-League’s leadership is busy in praising Indian Prime Minister Modi while Indian Defence Minister has challenged to answer Pathan Kot attack in a month. He said our party’s doors were open to everyone
and we would welcome our old party workers.
