KARACHI: In case Aqeel Kareem Dhedhi is worried, he may join his friends in the jail, said  Director General FIA DG FIA Akbar Khan Hoti while talking to the media here on Tuesday.

He said the Sindh chief minister is their elder brother and they do not have any differences with him. He said the operation against terrorists and corruption is continuing, while there are developments in the Imran Farooq murder case.

The DG said we are being blamed for remaining partial. “We are fighting our case and so is Dhedhi fighting his case. We do not have any personal differences with Dhedhi. Our job is to collect evidences, which we are doing and Dhedhi should not worry if he is so good,”   he said

Describing the working of the FIA, he said we conduct inquiry first, and then register a case and the director acquires permission before the registrations of a case.  He said the operation against corruption and financial assistance to the terrorists is continuing according to the powers given to us. He also hinted at the developments in the Imran Farooq murder case and said the inquiry team will also go abroad if needed.
