The rupee remained flat against the dollar in thin trading activity during the day, dealers said on Tuesday. The rupee maintained the closing at 104.94 to the dollar, which was the same as the previous day, in the interbank foreign exchange market. “There was no panic for dollar purchase owing to sufficient supply,” said a dealer.
The interbank market was initiated in the range of Rs104.93-104.95 to a dollar. The dollar witnessed high of Rs104.94 and low of Rs104.92 during the trading.
