PM approves promotion of 40 bureaucrats to Grade 22
ISLAMABAD: In a meeting of promotion board presided over by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, approval has been granted to the promotion of 40 officers of different service groups from Grade 21 to Grade 22.
The Establishment Division will soon issue a notification of these promotions. Secretary Establishment Nadeem Hassan Asif, Secretary Cabinet Raja Hassan Abbas and Secretary PM Fawad Hassan attended the meeting.
Those promoted include 18 officers from the Administrative Service, four from the Secretariat Group and others from Inland Revenue, Customs, Audit and Account, Foreign Services and Police, etc.
From the Secretariat Group, Acting Secretary Presidency Naveed Shafiq Malik, Urdu Dictionary Board Executive Director Abdul Malik Ghauri, NA Additional Secretary Abdul Jabbar and IPO Executive Director Aamir Hassan have been promoted.
Additional Auditor General Javed Jahangir and AG Punjab Imran Iqbal are among those promoted from the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service. From Inland Revenue, Raana Seerat has been promoted. No official statement about the meeting has been issued.
