Abducted child recovered from policeman’s captivity

SUKKUR: An abducted newborn baby was recovered from the possession of a policeman in Bhit Shah before the baby could be sold out to a couple. A newborn baby boy Shahbaz Mahboob mysteriously disappeared from his house at Saikhat in Matiari district a week ago.
The police recovered the child from a couple, identified as policeman Taj Muhammad Brohi, and his wife Shahnaz. Police claimed that the couple had sold out the baby to another couple Ali Gul and Nazira. The Matiari Police arrested the accused policeman and his wife on the charges of kidnapping and human trafficking and later handed over the child to his parents.
