Secy for dengue prevention activities
LAHORE:Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Sarah Aslam directed the departments concerned to intensify the dengue prevention activities across the Punjab.
According to a handout in this regard, she appealed to the citizens to take special care of cleanliness and no garbage should be thrown in open places. Citizens should be more responsible in preventing dengue during monsoon; especially rainwater should not accumulate in residential areas.
Secretary Sarah Aslam said that during last 24 hours, only one new confirm case of dengue reported across the province. No confirm dengue patient was undergoing treatment in the province. During this year total 63 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported from all the hospitals and out of all confirmed patients, 27 patients has been reported from Lahore.
