PESHAWAR: China Study Centre, University of Peshawar and Centre for Global and Strategic Studies Islamabad signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote research among students and teachers.
A press release said that the MoU was signed by UoP Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Idrees and China Study Centre director and dean UoP Prof Dr Zahid Anwar as well as CGSS Executive Director Lt Col Khalid Taimur Akram and Vice-President Maj Gen (r) Hafiz Masroor Ahmed.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Idrees said that China Study Centre and CGSS can jointly work to help both teachers and students in research related activities.
Khalid Taimur Akram said that CGSS would hold workshops and seminars related to research, literature and technological advancement. Prof Dr Zahid Anwar assured cooperation on the part of China Study Centre in terms of promoting research culture among students.
Masroor Ahmed said that under the MoU, the researchers of UoP would be able to access the research data of CGSS.
