Campuses in Punjab reopen on Aug 2

LAHORE:School Education Department (SED) Punjab on Thursday announced that all public and private schools will reopen across the province after summer vacation on August 2.
A per a notification issued here, classes will be held on staggered basis having 50 per cent attendance each day. The SED Punjab also issued school timing according to which Boys Schools will observe timings from 7:30am to 12:30pm, Girls Schools from 7:45am to 12:45pm while Insaf Afternoon Schools will continue functioning from 2:00pm to 5:00pm from Monday to Saturday.
Meanwhile, the department has also directed all CEOs of District Education Authorities (DEAs) to ensure cleanliness of schools, removal of stagnant water and removal of junks and debris, etc.
