Explanation sought from 4 price control magistrates

LAHORE:Following the poor performance in field, the deputy commissioner called explanation from four price control magistrates on Wednesday.
Officials said Lahore DC Mudassar Riaz took stern action to control the prices of essential commodities and issued explanation letters to four price control magistrates for not attending a meeting held regarding price control and for poor performance. The letters were issued to Atiq Ashiq, Ehsan Sarwar Zaidi, Tahir Ali and Miss Sedrah Zafar. The DC directed them to submit their replies by Thursday (today). He said strict action would be taken against price control magistrates who performed poorly.
