Directive to check staff presence in offices
LAHORE:To address complaints against low attendance in offices of district administration and in field formations, the deputy commissioner has assigned duties to several senior officials to check physical presence of staff, especially the newly-recruited staff.
The decision was taken in a meeting held here on Wednesday. DC Lahore said Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue will check the new dengue staff posted in Cantt. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Shahid Abbas Kathia will check newly-recruited dengue staff in Shalimar Town, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Anam Zahid will check newly-recruited dengue staff in Gulberg Town, District Monitoring Officer DC Office Lahore will check newly-recruited dengue staff in Data Ganj Bakhsh Zone. The DC said Assistant Commissioner HR & CDC Office Lahore will check dengue staff in Samanabad zone, Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Tehneet Bukhari will check dengue staff in Wagah zone, Assistant Commissioner City Faizan Ahmed will check the newly-recruited dengue staff in Ravi zone, Assistant Commissioner Raiwind Adnan Rasheed will check the newly-recruited dengue staff in Allama Iqbal Zone, Assistant Commissioner Model Town Ibrahim Arbab will check the newly-recruited dengue staff in Nishtar Zone and Assistant Commissioner Cantt Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha will check the newly-recruited dengue staff in Aziz Bhatti Zone.
The DC said that all DDOs will ensure the presence of newly-recruited staff in their respective towns. He said all the officers will ensure that the staff was physically present on their assigned duties.
