Motorcyclist injured in firing

PESHAWAR: A motorcyclist was injured when the son of a former lawmaker allegedly opened fire on him near Zarghooni Masjid in Hayatabad on Sunday.
A cop said a former MNA Nasir Khan along with his son and other people was traveling in his car. Meanwhile, the son of the former lawmaker allegedly opened fire on the bike rider after raising suspicions. The bike rider sustained injuries and was taken to hospital. An official said Nasir Khan and his family had received threats in the recent months while his house was attacked as well with a hand grenade. It was not known whether any arrest was made after the firing.
