Proceedings of NA adjourned for 10 days

ISLAMABAD: The proceedings of the National Assembly (NA) on Monday were adjourned for 10 days without executing any business.
Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri announced to adjourn the House till July 30 soon after offering Fateha for departed souls ex-Sindh chief minister Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, martyred soldiers and other following the national anthem.
Only three opposition members Syed Naveed Qamar, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali and a few government parliamentarians were present in their seats when the deputy speaker read adjourned orders. None of the members pointed out the lack of quorum in the House. The ongoing session is being held to complete 130 mandatory days in a parliamentary year.
