LAHORE:The Punjab government has decided to fill the vacant seats in order to enhance the efficiency of the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE). The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Irum Bukhari at the Civil Secretariat here Monday. Director General ACE Gohar Nafees, Additional Secretary Admin Zenab Khan, Deputy Secretary Establishment Kamran Khan and others attended the meeting. The ACS directed to ensure merit policy while recruiting officials on priority basis so that pending cases could be disposed of rapidly. The officers’ requisitions are pending with Police, Prosecution, Communication & Works, Irrigation and Planning & Development, she said and added the representatives of departments should also be called in the next meeting to overcome shortage of officers.
