SOPs to contain corona, Congo virus
LAHORE : The Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department secretary has issued special SOPs before Eidul Azha related to COVID-19 and Congo virus in the light of National Command Operation Centre guidelines.
Moreover, the SOPs and Vaccination Week has been extended till July 25, 2021. A notification has been issued to all the commissioners, deputy commissioners and DPOs to spread awareness related to the SOPs and Vaccination Week.
With mutual consultation between NCOC and the provincial government, the SOPs for various sectors have been devised, including tourist spots, cinema halls, amusement parks, swimming pools, hotels, restaurants, wedding halls and gyms. It will be the duty of the district administration to ensure implementation of the SOPs.
A spokesperson for the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department said that only vaccinated people would be allowed to visit interprovincial tourist spots. The hotels and restaurants must allow only 50 per cent dine in the facility. Moreover, advanced booking has been recommended.
According to the notification, only vaccinated guests would be invited to the wedding functions. The wedding hall owners must inform customers about the policy.
Indoor wedding ceremonies can be held with 200 guests while outdoor wedding functions might have not more than 400 guests. All the transportation facilities must use only 70 per cent of their capacity.
Crowd and congestion must be avoided and arrangements must be made by the administration of businesses. Indoor and outdoor dining services are only for the vaccinated people.
