Police vehicle damaged in DI Khan blast

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A vehicle of the police was damaged when miscreants targeted it with an improvised explosive device (IED) in Takwara area in Kulachi tehsil on Saturday.
The police said that they launched a search operation in Takwara area after unidentified gunmen opened fire on a police post.
They said the police party, headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Khalid Mahmood Khan and Station House Officer, Kulachi, Aurangzeb Khan, was targeted with an IED when they were coming back from the area. The vehicle of SHO was partially damaged in the attack, however, he remained unhurt.
