ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday assured China that Pakistan would spare no effort to fully investigate the Dasu bus tragedy and that no hostile forces would be allowed to hurt Pak-China brotherly relations.

According to Prime Minister Office, in this connection, Prime Minister Imran Khan held a telephonic conversation with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang during which he assured him that the security of Chinese nationals, workers, projects and institutions in Pakistan was the top-most priority of his government.

He also assured the Chinese premier that the government was providing best possible medical care to Chinese nationals injured in the incident.

The prime minister emphasised that the people of Pakistan shared the grief and pain of the families of Dasu bus tragedy victims, which resulted in the death of 13 people, including nine Chinese nationals.

Imran Khan expressed heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives of Chinese nationals in the tragic incident in Dasu.

The prime minister told his Chinese counterpart that Pakistan and China have an iron-clad friendship, which has withstood the vicissitudes of time.

He added that no hostile forces would be allowed to damage brotherly relations between Pakistan and China.

Meanwhile, the prime minister snubbed the Indian media, saying the Indian RSS ideology was the main hurdle in normalisation of ties with Pakistan.

The prime minister, who was in Tashkent to participate in a conference on ''Central and South Asia Regional Connectivity, challenges and opportunities”, responded to the question by an Indian journalist, who sought Pakistan’s stance on talks with India.

“We have been trying to tell India that we have been waiting for a long time, let’s live like civilised neighbours, but what to do, as the RSS ideology has come in the way,” Imran Khan said.

He was leaving the Congress Hall after attending the conference when an Indian journalist asked that India wants to know whether talks and terror go together.

The prime minister has very clear views about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its extremist policies. In an earlier tweet, the prime minister had pointed out that the RSS ideology of Hindu supremacy, like the Nazi Aryan Supremacy, will not stop in IIOJ&K; instead, it will lead to suppression of Muslims in India and eventually lead to targeting of Pakistan.
