Eidul Azha is round the corner, and the already inflated prices of eatables are increasing with each passing day. The incumbent government’s claims that it has taken measures to control the prices of essential commodities seem hollow as vendors are not selling items at government-approved prices.
Rising inflation has badly affected the poor; the sitting government needs to take stringent measures to bring the prices of food items down to affordable levels.
