No more deaths from corona in Lahore
LAHORE: No more deaths from corona were reported during last 24 hours here in City, while five more deaths were reported across the province, bringing the total number of deaths to 10,791. According to a handout issued here Wednesday, during a daily review meeting of activities of COVID-19 across the Punjab, it was informed that 166 new cases have been reported, bringing the total number of cases to 347,180. In the last 24 hours, 17,121 test samples were taken while a total of 5,758,298 tests have been taken so far. Secretary, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department Punjab Sarah Aslam has said that a gradual decrease in COVID-19 infection rate has been witnessed in the province.
305,501 RECOVER: SHC&MED, Punjab, has informed that around 305,501 corona patients recovered in the public sector hospitals, while 106 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. In a statement, SHC&MED Secretary Barrister Nabeel Awan said that the department had made sufficient arrangements that out of 6,674 beds reserved in all govt hospitals for corona patients, 6,150 beds were lying unoccupied.
