ABBOTTABAD: A senior official on Monday said that 532 new vacancies had been created in the Works and Services Department for all cadres to strengthen the capacity of the department.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the election campaign for the Pakistan Engineering Council here, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Works and Services Department Ijaz Hussain Ansari said that the department was divided into two separate entities so the issues being confronted by engineers could be resolved promptly.
He said that it would also, help increase employment opportunities for the engineers and others staff.Engineers from all the construction departments of Hazara division, Comsats University and retired engineers attended the ceremony. Ijaz Ansari that Pakistan Engineering Council was a regulatory authority, which was being restructured along modern lines.
