SUKKUR: A woman, along with her relatives, set up a protest camp at the Jinnah Bagh, Larkana Chowk, to demand the administration to arrest culprits involved in her rape.
However, no official of the administration or the Sindh government visited the protest camp established by the victim Yasmin Shaikh for the arrest of her rapists.
Meanwhile, PTI Senator Engineer Saifullah Abro visited the protest camp to meet Yasmin, who informed the senator that one woman had sent her to Saudi Arabia for job to her sons living in Saudi Arabia.
Yasmin told the senator that as she reached Saudi Arabia the sons had given her tranquilizers and raped her with two other persons.
She later shared her story with her parents living in Larkana. She said her parents talked to rapists, who demanded Rs300,000 from her parents to send her back to Larkana, adding her parents paid the amount to secure her release.
PTI Senator Saifullah Abro assured her of discussing her issue with Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and the IGP Sindh.
