Four drug peddlers among five arrested

Islamabad : Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police have arrested five criminals four drug dealers and recovered mobile phones, DVDs, CCTV cameras, DVR, stolen motorbikes parts, and recovered 8.400 kilogram hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to the details, DIG (Operations) Islamabad police, Afzaal Ahmad Kausar has categorically directed all the police officers to accelerate their efforts to curb crime and secure the city against criminals.

Following these directions, SSP (Investigation) Atta ur-Rehman constituted a special police team under the supervision of DSP CIA. One of the team including including Sub-Inspector Inaam Ullah, ASI Muhammad Ishqa, along others arrested four drug dealers namely Faroz, Imran, Khalid and Muhammad Sabeel and recovered 8.400 kilogram hashish from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them.

More-over under the supervision of DSP CIA including ASI Waseem Haider along with other arrested a wanted members of house buglers gang identified as Chan Zaib resident of Dokhe Abbasi Tarnol and recovered 17 stolen mobile phones, LEDs, SSTV, DVR and parts of stolen motorbike from him. Cases have been registered against him and further investigation in underway.

DIG (Operations) Afzaal Ahmed Kausar has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials to remain vigilant in their respective areas and to ensure safety and security of the citizens.
